Membership Savings Plan
No insurance? No problem.
Our in-house Membership Savings Plan provides comprehensive preventive care plus a 10% discount on all other treatment — at a flat annual fee, with no insurance hassle. Two plan options, designed for the way our patients actually use dental care.
At Jackson Dentistry, it is important to us that patients are able to obtain the dental care they need.
Why we created this plan
Why we created this plan
Many of our patients do not have dental insurance — by choice, because their employer does not offer it, or because they have evaluated dental insurance and concluded it does not pay back what it costs.
For these patients, paying full out-of-pocket for routine care can feel like a barrier. So we created an in-house Membership Savings Plan that provides predictable, affordable preventive care along with meaningful discounts on any other treatment you may need.
The plan is straightforward: pay an annual fee, receive a defined set of preventive services included, and get 10% off all other treatment provided at our office for the year.
The two plan options
Choose the plan that fits your needs
We offer two annual plan options. Most patients enroll in the Traditional Adult plan; patients with a history of periodontal (gum) disease typically enroll in the Periodontal Adult plan, which includes more frequent specialized cleanings.
Plan A
Traditional Adult
$589/year
Value of $900+ if purchased separately
Includes
- 2 routine exams
- 1 emergency exam
- 2 regular dental cleanings
- 2 fluoride treatments
- Any necessary radiographs (X-rays)
- 2 oral cancer screenings
- 10% discount on all other products and services
Plan B
Periodontal Adult
$889/year
Value of $1,250+ if purchased separately
Includes
- 2 routine exams
- 1 emergency exam
- 4 periodontal maintenance cleanings
- 2 fluoride treatments
- Any necessary radiographs (X-rays)
- 2 oral cancer screenings
- 10% discount on all other products and services
The primary difference between the two plans is in the cleanings. The Traditional plan includes 2 regular cleanings per year, suitable for patients with healthy gums. The Periodontal plan includes 4 periodontal maintenance cleanings per year, designed for patients with a history of periodontal disease who benefit from more frequent specialized cleanings.

Why patients enroll
Plan benefits
The Membership Savings Plan offers benefits that most dental insurance plans cannot match:
- No deductibles
- No waiting periods
- No annual maximums
- No pre-existing condition exclusions
- No claims to submit
- No pre-authorization required
- 10% discount on all other dental treatment
- Establishes vital, semi-annual preventive care visits to maintain optimal oral health
For patients who would otherwise pay full out-of-pocket for preventive care plus occasional restorative treatment, the plan typically pays for itself well within the first year.

Plan details
Important plan details
Plan validity:
Plan benefits must be utilized within 365 days of enrollment. Unused services do not roll over to the next year.
Non-refundable:
Plan fees are non-refundable, including for unused services.
Payment for the plan:
Cash, check, debit, and major credit cards are accepted for the plan fee. CareCredit may be used to pay for dental treatment, but it cannot be used to pay for the Membership Savings Plan premium itself.
Where the plan applies:
The plan applies to care provided at our office. If your treatment requires a referral to an outside specialist, the plan does not apply at the specialist's office.
Cannot combine with insurance:
The Membership Savings Plan is an alternative to dental insurance and cannot be combined with insurance plans or discounts. Patients who have dental insurance should typically use their insurance benefits rather than enrolling in the plan. We are happy to help you decide which approach makes more financial sense for your situation.

Frequently asked
Common questions about the plan
How is this different from dental insurance?
The Membership Savings Plan is not insurance. It is a direct membership with our office — pay an annual fee, receive defined preventive care, and get a discount on other treatment. No claims, no deductibles, no annual maximums, and no third-party approvals.
Will the plan pay for itself?
For most patients without insurance who use dental care normally, yes — typically within the first year. The total value of the included services exceeds the plan fee, and the 10% discount on other treatment adds up if you need any restorative care.
What if I do not use all my included services in a year?
Unused services do not roll over. The plan is structured around the assumption that you use the included preventive care during the year — that is the value.
What if I need a treatment that is not covered by the plan?
The 10% discount applies to all other treatment at our office. So a crown, a filling, or any other procedure is discounted by 10% from our standard fees.
Can I cancel the plan if I change my mind?
Plan fees are non-refundable. Plans run for a full 365 days from enrollment.
Is the plan a good option for me if I have dental insurance?
Probably not. Dental insurance typically provides similar or better coverage for routine preventive care. The Membership Savings Plan is designed specifically for patients without insurance.
Can I use my CareCredit to pay for the plan fee?
CareCredit may be used to pay for dental treatment, but it cannot be used to pay for the Membership Savings Plan premium itself. The plan fee can be paid by cash, check, debit, or credit card.
