New Patients
Welcome.
Whether you are looking for a new dental home, considering a specific procedure, or transferring from another practice — we are glad you are considering us. Here is everything you need to know to get started.
What to expect from us
What makes our practice different
Time, intentionally given.
We are not a high-volume practice and do not aspire to be one. Appointments are scheduled with the time the care actually requires, which means you will not feel rushed and we will not feel rushed providing your care.
A team that knows you.
Many of our team members have been with the practice for years. They know our patients by name, remember the things that matter, and treat every visit as a continuation of an ongoing relationship rather than a transaction.
Modern technology, used carefully.
CBCT 3D imaging, iTero digital scanning, the Yomi robotic implant system, the Instarisa facial scanner, in-house digital lab, modern patient communication — the technology is here because it makes care better, not because it sounds impressive.
Honest answers.
We diagnose, explain, and recommend. If a tooth can be saved, we recommend saving it. If a filling will solve the problem, we do not recommend a crown. If a referral to a specialist colleague is the right call for an unusually complex situation, we will say so directly.
A bilingual team.
Many of our team members are fluent in Spanish. ¡Se habla español!

What happens when you come in
Your first visit at Jackson Dentistry is built around getting to know you and understanding your dental health and goals.
Before you arrive:
We will send you our patient platform link to complete your forms digitally before the appointment. If you would prefer paper forms, those are available at the office. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your appointment time on your first visit.
At the appointment:
We will start with a conversation. What brings you in? Anything specific you would like to address? Any history we should know? Then we will move into a comprehensive exam — a careful look at every tooth, periodontal evaluation, oral cancer screening, bite assessment, and digital X-rays as appropriate.
After the exam:
We will walk through what we found, in plain language. If you need treatment, we will explain it clearly and walk through your options — including timeline and cost. You will leave with a clear understanding of what we recommend, what it will cost, and what your next step should be.
No pressure.
You are not committing to a treatment plan by coming in for an exam. Many patients hear the recommendations, take the information home to consider, and return weeks later to schedule. That is exactly how it should work.
Cost of your first visit
What the first visit costs
Without insurance
$99
First visit, new patient
For new patients without dental insurance, the cost of your first appointment is $99. This includes the dental examination by Dr. Jackson or Dr. Romine and any radiographs or imaging needed during the visit. If additional treatment is recommended after the exam, you will receive a clear understanding of the cost of that treatment before scheduling.
For new patients with dental insurance, we provide a complimentary benefits check before your appointment to verify what your specific plan covers at our office.
