Implant Consultation
Let us start with a conversation.
Every implant case begins the same way — a 3D scan, an honest conversation about your options, and a clear treatment plan with cost information you can take home and consider. No pressure. No rushed decisions. Just a real understanding of what is possible for your specific situation.
The visit
What to expect when you come in
Your implant consultation is straightforward and unhurried. Here is what we will do together:
- 1
We will talk.
We start by listening. What is bringing you in? What have you tried before? What outcome are you hoping for? Whether you have been thinking about implants for years or you are just starting to explore, we want to understand where you are coming from.
- 2
We will examine your mouth.
A clinical exam tells us a lot — the condition of the area where the implant would go, the health of surrounding teeth and gums, your bite, and any other factors that affect treatment.
- 3
We will capture a 3D CBCT scan.
Our cone-beam CT scanner takes a quick three-dimensional image of your jaw. This shows us bone density, nerve locations, sinus position — everything we need to know whether you are a candidate for implants and what kind of plan makes sense.
- 4
We will discuss your options.
With the exam, the medical history, and the CBCT scan, Dr. Jackson is typically able to determine your candidacy for one or more dental implants — or for the All-on-X procedure — at the same appointment. We will walk you through what is possible. If implants are the right path, we will explain the type, the timeline, and the workflow. If something else makes more sense, we will tell you that, too.
- 5
You will leave with a clear treatment plan and cost information.
Before you leave, you will have a clear treatment plan and a complete understanding of the cost of your care, including any financing options. No verbal-only quotes. You take the information home and decide on your own time.
Cost of the consultation
Transparent pricing
First visit
$99
For new patients without dental insurance
For new patients without dental insurance, the cost of the first appointment is $99. This includes the dental examination by Dr. Jackson or Dr. Romine and any radiographs or imaging needed during the visit. If additional treatment is recommended, you will receive a clear understanding of the cost of that care.
For patients with dental insurance, we provide a complimentary benefits check before your appointment to verify what your specific plan covers at our office.
If you decide to proceed with treatment, the consultation is the first step in a relationship — not a sales pitch. Many patients come in to learn and leave with information they spend weeks or months considering before scheduling. That is completely fine.
Is this you?
Is this the right next step for me?
A consultation is the right next step if any of the following describe you:
- You are missing one or more teeth and want to understand your options
- You have been told you need extractions and want to plan for replacements at the same time
- You are tired of dentures or partials and want a permanent alternative
- You have had a bridge fail or you are concerned about future failures
- You have been quoted for implants elsewhere and want a second opinion
- You are not sure what you need but you know something has to change
You do not need to know what you want before coming in. That is what the consultation is for.
Financing and insurance
How patients pay for treatment
We work hard to make implant treatment accessible. The options we offer include:
Dental insurance.
We are out-of-network with all dental insurance plans but accept dental insurance and file claims on your behalf as a courtesy. Many plans cover at least a portion of implant treatment. We will provide a complimentary benefits check before your appointment and an estimate of what your insurance is likely to pay. The estimate is not a guarantee of coverage — ultimately, the cost of treatment is the responsibility of the patient.
CareCredit.
Healthcare financing with multiple payment plan options, including extended terms for larger cases. Many of our patients use CareCredit to spread the cost of implant treatment over time.
In-house Membership Savings Plan.
For patients without dental insurance, our membership plan provides reduced fees on implants and other procedures. Ask us for details.
Custom payment arrangements.
For larger cases, we can sometimes work out staged payment schedules. Talk to us about what would make treatment workable for your situation.
We will discuss all of this transparently at your consultation.
