Dental Implants
Dental implants, designed in three dimensions and placed with precision.
We plan every implant case in three-dimensional software and place each one with Yomi robotic guidance, whether it is a single tooth or a full arch. Sub-millimeter accuracy, for every implant we place. Every stage of your care happens right here in Eustis.
Three pathways
Where patients usually start
Every implant case is different. Some patients are missing one tooth and want it back without altering healthy neighboring teeth for a bridge. Others have struggled with failing teeth or dentures for years and are ready for a permanent solution. Whichever describes you, the path forward starts with a conversation and a 3D scan.
I am missing one or a few teeth
Single and multi-tooth implants restore individual teeth without affecting the ones beside them. Each implant is planned in three dimensions and placed precisely where it needs to be for long-term health and a natural appearance.
Single & Multi-Tooth ImplantsI need a full-mouth solution
The All-on-X procedure replaces an entire arch of teeth on as few as four implants. We handle every stage of All-on-X care, including extractions, bone recontouring, bone grafting with PRF, implant placement, and the final prosthesis. With our Yomi robot, our in-house digital lab, and our facially-driven design workflow, we deliver a fixed, natural-looking smile through a carefully planned and well-coordinated process.
All-on-X Full-Arch ImplantsI want to understand the technology first
Our entire implant workflow is digital. CBCT 3D imaging, three-dimensional planning software, the Instarisa facial scanner, and the Yomi robotic guidance system work together to make implant care predictable, comfortable, and accurate.
Yomi & Three-Dimensional Digital PlanningWhy us
Why patients choose us for implants
Implant dentistry has changed enormously over the last decade. Dr. Jackson has built our practice around using the modern tools available today thoughtfully and well, with careful diagnosis and planning at the foundation.
Principle 1
Begin with the end in mind.
For every implant case, Dr. Jackson begins by envisioning the finished smile, the restored tooth and how it will look and function. He then plans the implant position to support that end. The idea comes from Stephen Covey, and it guides every implant case we plan and deliver.
Principle 2
One approach, chosen deliberately.
Every dental implant we place is planned in three-dimensional software, and every implant is placed with the Yomi robotic system, the first and only FDA-cleared robot for dental implant surgery. We did not reserve the robot for our largest procedures. A single tooth deserves the same sub-millimeter accuracy as a full arch, so robotic guidance is our standard of care for every implant.
Principle 3
3D planning Dr. Jackson manages personally.
Every implant case begins with a CBCT 3D scan. Dr. Jackson personally plans every implant in three-dimensional software. The planning is never outsourced. The same doctor who plans the implant places the implant and oversees the final restoration.
Principle 4
In-house digital lab.
Our on-site lab uses Exocad design software and dental 3D printers. For implant cases, and All-on-X in particular, that means provisional teeth, next-day temporary crowns, and custom components are designed and produced under our roof, in coordination with the rest of the care.
Principle 5
Care that stays in one place.
Diagnosis, planning, surgical care, and final restoration all happen with our team in Eustis. The same team stays with you through every appointment. In the rare circumstance that a particular case is best served by a referral to a specialist colleague (an unusually complex situation calling for resources beyond what we provide here, for example), Dr. Jackson will say so directly and refer you to a trusted colleague who can provide the level of care your specific case requires.
What an implant case looks like
What to expect
Most implant cases follow the same general arc, though timelines and details vary.
- 1
Consultation and 3D scan.
At your consultation, we will talk through your goals and concerns, review your medical history, capture a CBCT 3D scan, and examine your mouth carefully. With this information, Dr. Jackson is typically able to determine whether dental implants or the All-on-X procedure are right for you, and walk through your options at the same appointment. Before you leave, you will have a clear understanding of the recommended treatment plan and the cost of your care. If additional records are needed to finalize the plan, we capture them at a follow-up visit.
- 2
Three-dimensional plan.
Dr. Jackson designs your implant plan in three-dimensional planning software, beginning with the final restoration and working backward to determine the ideal implant position. Most plans are completed within a day or two, sometimes three for complex cases. You will see the plan before any treatment begins.
- 3
Robotic placement.
On the day of your procedure, your implant is placed with the Yomi robotic system, following the digital plan we built together with sub-millimeter fidelity. Many cases are flapless, which means smaller surgical sites and a smoother recovery.
- 4
Healing.
Implants need time to integrate with the bone (usually three to six months). For All-on-X cases, you will receive a fixed provisional prosthesis the day after surgery. For front-tooth single implants, you will receive a custom temporary crown the day after surgery.
- 5
Final restoration.
Once healed, we place the final crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis designed for your bite and your smile.
Frequently asked
Common questions
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with missing or failing teeth are candidates. The CBCT scan tells us whether your bone is sufficient for an implant — and if more bone is needed, we can often build it with bone grafting and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) before or during the procedure. Dr. Jackson has successfully treated many patients who had been told elsewhere that they had insufficient bone for dental implants. The only way to know for sure is a consultation.
Are implants painful?
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the procedure is. Modern anesthesia is highly effective, and we frequently provide oral sedation for patients who would like a more relaxed experience. Robotic guidance allows for smaller, more precise surgical sites — many cases are flapless, which significantly reduces post-procedure discomfort.
How long do implants last?
Dental implants show very high long-term success in the published literature, and most last for decades. How long yours lasts depends on your bone, your health history, and how well the implant is maintained, which is why good hygiene and regular checkups matter as much as the surgery does. We will talk through your particular situation at your consultation.
How much do implants cost?
The cost depends on the specific care required — single-tooth implants, multi-tooth implants, and full-arch All-on-X cases differ significantly in scope. We provide a clear understanding of the cost of your care at the conclusion of your consultation appointment, before you leave the office. We also offer financing options including CareCredit and our in-house Membership Savings Plan.
Why is robotically guided implant placement better than freehand placement?
Robotic guidance produces significantly more accurate implant placement than freehand surgery, and it helps protect critical anatomical structures throughout the procedure. Better placement contributes to better long-term outcomes. Robotic guidance is our standard of care for every dental implant we place.
What the first appointment involves
Every implant journey starts the same way, with a conversation and a 3D scan. We will walk through your options honestly, with no pressure, and you will have a clear treatment plan and cost information before you leave the consultation.
