DENTAL IMPLANTS
Are you missing teeth? Do you experience the daily struggle of dentures that slip and float? If so, you need to ask Dr. Jackson about dental implants. These innovative prosthetic devices replace teeth roots to provide a dependable anchor for dentures or individual crowns.
THE MODERN SOLUTION FOR MISSING TEETH
Traditionally, missing teeth were replaced with a denture, bridge, or partial. Without the solid foundation a natural tooth’s root provided, bridges needed crowns placed on altered surrounding teeth to hold the replacement teeth in place. Partials attached to healthy teeth with clasps, and dentures relied on natural suction or denture adhesives to stay in place. A more lifelike and permanent solution is a bridge, denture, or single-tooth replacement provided with dental implants. Instead of using natural suction, surrounding teeth, or messy adhesives, dental implants are their own anchor. Implant posts are placed precisely in a patient’s jaw, allowing jawbone tissue to remain healthy and less likely to deteriorate, as well as providing a solid foundation for the replacement teeth. No other dental prosthetic solution reduces potential for jawbone degeneration.
